TRANSPARENCY HAS ANSWERS ITS NAME: KATSINA STATE APC PRIMARIES - Hassan Usman Datti

Before I will place my pen on the desk let me begin by saluting the courage of Governor Masari for being a good father and best leader in keeping his home safe and peaceful in carrying all and sundry (party members) in the course of our internal politics with out showing priority and favoritism over one member to another. he considers and accepts all of us as single family under one umbrella. I will also like to thank the Katsina State APC Chairman in person of Alh Shitu S. Shitu Maslaha, who inspite of the numerous hurdles he tried as much as the situation could be afford and adjust to managed the APC primaries to became succcessful and peaceful with little or no rancour. 

APC as a political party and giant political platform that many have shown interest under it and aspired elective political offices of different positions, for this has really created inconveniences in this party politics, the Katsina State APC Executive Members have done wonderfully in the process adopted for consensus which at the end didn't yielded a desired impacts but made a little positive progress that lead to election ground, nevertheless the primiries become peaceful and successful, where the winners and losers were announced.

In the history of the fourth Republic Politics which began in the 1999 to date, with differing political dispensations that has produced three Katsina State Elected Governors, two of them stayed in office for eigh years, Malam Umar Yar'adua served between 1999 and 2007 while Barr. Ibrahim Shehu Shema between 2007 and 2015. Therefore, the seating Governor; H.E. Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari from 2015 to date who is presently seeking for second term, the point here is that there was never a fairly and transparency primary elections ever conducted in Katsina State Politics like the recent APC primaries. We are eye witnessed in the PDP internal politics especially when it comes to Primaries Elections which was of injustice, impossible and rigging. Flag bearers are anointed by the Party Officials in serving the interest of the person who gets all. During the PDP's era, there was no political aspirant with out the favoritism of the governor then have ever won the PDP Primaries in the history of Katsina State politics.

Transparency has really answered its name in the APC internal politics, we have made a history, we have seen many aspirants that relied to neither party official nor elite for God-fatherism and political favoritism but have won the 2018 APC primaries. This is indeed a loudable effort. This was not just happened, it happened by the support of Governor Masari, this is a clear indication that Governor Masari is working hard to unite the party. Governor Masari's restoration and transformation agenda has positively torched the lives of thousands of Katsina State citizenry.

The style, designation and composition of his "team work" in the actualization of the restoration agenda has really helped the system tremendously to have saw the New Katsina in just three years.

Several number and various project has been executed that have cut across the physical projects; remodeling, rehabilitation and equipping both of the primary and secondary hospitals, rehabilitation and building of new primary and secondary schools across the state and provision of social amenities in urban and rural areas.

Poverty alleviation and self employment; the APC Government under the leadership of H.E. Rt Hon Aminu Bello Masari has empowered over five thousands youth of different gender in the whole state.

Many ideas have been injected into the system in order of restoring the lost glory of the state and transforming all of the sectors that are impacting the common man directly.

Agricultural activities in Katsina state, considers to be one of the major sources of generating personal income more especially the people living in the rural communities, in considering the above fact Governor Masari have put more weight in this sector, its since the inception of this government, Masari Administration has provided hundred of thousands metrics tones of fertilizer in several occasion to our local farmers for dry and rainy season farming.

By going into the PDP's primaries that produced many of its flag bearers, who in one way or the other had once or twice occupied elective political offices and who gets nothing as tangible project done as their legacies throughout the live span of their tenures. A critical example; the party's Gubernatorial candidate, the person of Sen. Yakubu Lado Danmarke whose political career began as ward councilor, with time goes on made it as elected senator for Funtua Zone Senatorial District, during the tenure of Sen. Lado in the Red Chamber, the people of Funtua Zone witnessed nothing term as developmental project or in easing the hardship of his constituents with social amenities or any physical structure initiated and built by him under the name of the office he occupied then. But in the present political dispenses, is the same person that is lobbying, seeking and appealing for the support of Katsinawa and Daurawa.

Sen. Danmarke have been weighed and found  weightless; he got nothing to offer to the yearning aspirations of the good people of Katsina State. Very sure, Danmarke would not be accepted in Katsina state, its only the clique of friends and family would accept him for Governor but not the people of Katsina State.

Recalled that in 2011, Sen. Yakubu Lado was hired by the then ruling party, PDP to distablized, confused and raised tension into the defunk CPC Katsina State Chapter, after he lost to H.E. Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari during the CPC primaries, he refused to concede defeat but he proceeded to paraded himself as a contender into the contest of 2011 Gubernortorial General Elections on the idea of who to run in that contest, while H.E. Rt. Hon. Aminu Masari won the CPC Gubernatorial Primary Election with overwhelming majority which produced him as its authentic candidate and flag bearer to compete with the then incumbent Governor Brr. Ibrahim Shema. Today, in Allah's infinite mercy their mischievous actions has been translated into victory.

PDP is a dreaded political platform that has inflicted millions of Nigerians with different deceases, for its being the worst party, has now in Katsina State, fielded Sen. Yakubu Lado Danmarke as its gubernatorial candidate to compete Governor Masari come 2019 General Elections. What a nice play! Listen, the people of Katsina State are wise enough to vote, they votes for change, they votes for progress, they votes for restoration and transformation, they votes for credibility and competency, further more they would votes the person with such qualities that is H.E. Rt Hon Aminu Bello Masari.
